A women owned and operated pottery in Woolwich, ME, turns out a wonderful line of reasonably-priced functional stoneware that "relies on basic form and shape for its beauty, reminiscent of the past." I could not decide between two appealing glazes, so we have both -- and they intermix very nicely, too.
All the pottery is dishwasher, microwave and (if heated gradually) oven safe. Sizes are approximate. Remember -- this is handmade...
Small Pitcher - Approx 8 oz. Perfect as a creamer for syrup or sauces, or a small wildflower bouquet.
Medium Pitcher - approx 16 oz. Sized for many different uses.
