A woman-owned business, all Bixby products are manufactured in a 125-year-old former ice plant located on Rockland, Maine's working waterfront. Kate has been restoring this historic building bit by bit as her chocolate business has grown within. She sources organic cocoa beans directly from farmers, who she has visited and come to know, in Caribbean countries such as the Dominican Republic and Haiti, and Central America’s Belize and Guatemala.
