This is a professionally made and attractive piece of furniture. I first purchased one to accompany a child's table and chair set allowing a stool for a "heavier" adult to join tea parties and such. We had the bottom engraved to our grandchildren and were beyond delighted - ask for a photo of what is possible. It is so stable, our granddaughter uses it in the bathroom to climb up to the sink. I found it quite handy to assist for medical procedures and support socks for my husband. I take it outside to wax the lower portions of the car - endless functionality and a great family keepsake. This stool will last many lifetimes as a family keepsake.
